Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar
The arrival of the Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in 1983 offered guitarists all the essential elements of a Les Paul Standard, including a carved top and humbucking pickups. Its simple yet elegant design quickly helped it become the most popular model in the Les Paul Series. Cutting-yet-rich tone- the hallmark of the LP- pours out of the 490R and 498T alnico magnet humbucker pickups, which are mounted on a carved maple top with a mahogany back.
Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany Electric Guitar
The Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany brings together old and new Les Paul features to create a unique and special guitar. The round warmth of a carved mahogany top on a mahogany back first debuted in the famous 1957 Custom Black Beauty. Now we're bringing this fabulous wood combo back with the added vintage edge of Gibson's Alnico 5 BurstBucker Pro humbuckers.
Gibson Les Paul Classic Electric Guitar
Powered by a 496R ceramic humbucker in the front and a 500T at the bridge. And the Classic goes a few steps farther with green tuning keys, amber top-hat knobs, plain cream pickguard, true '60s slim-tapered neck, and trapezoid fretboard inlays. Gold hardware on ebony; nickel hardware with all other finishes. Includes Gibson hardshell case.
Gibson Les Paul Supreme Figured Electric Guitar
Custom binding all around; deluxe pearl-on-ebony fingerboard inlays; gold frets; and an abalone, pearl, and brass globe inlaid on the headstock. Chambered mahogany body takes a load off your shoulder and enhances resonance to aid the 490R and 498T alnico humbuckers in generating miles of smooth sustain. Includes Gibson hardshell case.
Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Neck Electric Guitar
The feel and sound of the original '50s LP comes from the classic hefty neck design of the Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Neck Electric Guitar. With a smaller peghead, push-in-bushing green tuning keys, and nickel hardware. You get staggering looks with brilliant transparent finishes on figured maple tops. Burstbucker V pickups feature Alnico V magnets like those used in the P90s from the '50s. One coil has more wraps than the other, as did most '50s and early '60s "Patent Applied For" coils. These waxed, double-potted pickups deliver a tighter, balanced, biting tone with more midrange. Mahogany body and neck with rosewood fretboard. Gibson includes a hardshell case with your '50s Neck Les Paul Standard Guitar.
Gibson 2008 Les Paul Standard Plus Electric Guitar
With fat, rich tone and incredible sustain, the Les Paul lends itself to every style and generation of music. Carefully glued into the neck cavity of the body, the neck functions as a single unit with the body. Its asymmetrical shape is the most comfortable neck offered on a Les Paul Standard. The BurstBucker Pro humbuckers have Alnico V magnets with slightly mismatched windings to deliver an enhanced "Patent Applied For" tone with more bite and brilliance. All Les Paul Standards will be Plek'd on Gibson's Plek machines, a computer controlled device which scans and dresses a guitar under actual playing conditions, strung and tuned to pitch.
