Fender's Vintage Jazz Bass has an alder body and sports a 3-ply or tortoise pickguard and has a rosewood fretboard.
Fender Marcus Miller J-Bass V
The Fender Marcus Miller J-Bass V has an ash body coupled to a one-piece maple neck with 7-1/4" radius, and 4-over 1-under tuner configuration. The J-Bass V has white binding and pearloid block inlays on a maple fretboard. A unique active preamp with an active/passive switch are wired to US single coils. A massive BadAss V bridge, Marcus Miller's signature black pickguard, and chrome neck pickup cover complete the feature set. This Fender Bass includes a deluxe hardshell case.

The Fender Deluxe P Bass Special 4-String Bass has a Jazz neck, a P Bass body, and a P/J combination pickup array with Vintage Noiseless pickups and active electronics. The P body is a little smaller and lighter, the J neck slimmer and faster, and the combined pickups give you just that much more to play with. A gold-anodized pickguard sets the Deluxe P Bass apart visually, and its satin-finish neck feels worn in from the get-go.
